About Us

  1. SamarpitMargyogi Foundation ( SMF) has been incorporated as dedicated road safety NGO under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 with Ministry of Corporate Affairs Government of India.The CIN,PAN and TAN of the company are U88900DL2024NPL429999, ABNCS2665Q and DELSO8676J respectively.
  2. SMF has been accorded approval under Section 80G of IT Act 1961 by Income Tax department for exempting all donations made to SMF from income tax during next 3 years.The Unique Registeration Number ( UIN) allocated is ABNCS2665QF20241.
  3. SMF has also been registered on NGO portal of NITI Aayog, Govt. Of India under Unique ID : DL/2024/0416391.

Mr. Sandeep Kumar

Director (Technical)

Mr. Sandeep Kumar is a distinguished Gold Medalist in Civil Engineering from NIT Durgapur with nearly 40 years of extensive experience in highway engineering. His illustrious career began at the grassroots level as an Assistant Engineer and culminated in his role as Engineer-in-Chief cum HOD of the Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department. In this capacity, he oversaw a vast network of road assets exceeding 300,000 km, which accounts for almost 5% of India’s total road length.

Mr. Kumar’s expertise also includes approximately 15 years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and operation of National Highways under EPC and PPP modes, gained during his tenure with NHAI and NHIDCL. He has been instrumental in conducting numerous road safety audits and studies during the design, construction, and maintenance phases, focusing on the points of traffic conflict and treatment of black spots. These initiatives were carried out in collaboration with esteemed institutions such as CRRI, IIT Delhi, and IIT BHU, Varanasi.

Mrs. Amita Kumar

Director (Social)

Mrs. Amita Kumar holds a first-class postgraduate degree in Library Science and is deeply committed to supporting underprivileged children and the elderly with her resources. For the past 20 years, she has consistently visited community schools and old age homes to distribute books and blankets, providing much-needed assistance.

Upon learning about the critical road safety issues in the country, Mrs. Kumar has decided to expand her efforts to promote road safety among children and senior citizens, recognizing them as the most vulnerable road users. Her dedication to this cause reflects her ongoing commitment to improving the lives and safety of those in need.

Mrs. Preeti Agrawal

Director ( Coordination)

Mrs.Preeti Agrawal holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science and over 20 years of experience in community service.Her work with underprivileged children includes organizing evening classes, supporting school fee payments, and maintaining book bank.Besides that she provides vital support to the elderly and marginalized groups in old age homes, orphanages by distributing food, groceries, clothing, and blankets.

Her Philanthropic efforts are marked by a strong sense of coordination, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and reach those who need them most.Mrs.Agrawal has also played leading role in conducting road awareness programs for vulnerable road users such as school children, cyclists, and senior citizens.
